proUTES is a professional, positive street Ute team spanning the nation that spawned when 4 Street Ute guys in Brisbane wanted to set up a community that catered for Street Customed Sports Utes. Established on May 13, 2004, proUTES is still going strong and has been active for over 5 years.

Currently boasting active interstate teams in most major cities, you can be an active part of proUTES from any part of the nation. Our major teams operate out of Perth, Brisbane and Canberra, with growing teams in Tasmania, Townsville, Adelaide, Melbourne and Darwin.

proUTES is strictly made up of urban Street Customed Utes of all makes and models. We have mainly Sports Utes but also welcome Mini Trucks and SUV’s. Our Teams are well known on the show circuits and amongst the street meets throughout most capital cities. You don’t need to have a stunning ute to be a part of our team. A lot of our members started off with town Utes and have progressed into building themselves beautiful machines with a lot of street credit. Town and factory utes are very welcome here.

Our members Utes are known nationwide through winning efforts at national shows such as Summernats, Motorvation, Autosalon, Holden vs Ford, Powercruise and many nationwide Ute Shows.

proUTES members also participate actively in the sport of drag racing. Many members have an admiration for this form of Motor Sport, and we also have a number of team members actively building purpose built ‘Drag’ and ‘Burn Out’ Utes.

So whether you've just purchased a factory SS or XR, and have dreams of creating it into a Street Machine? Or whether you already own a Street Ute and would like to cruise in a line of Street Utes as far as your eyes can see? proUTES is for you!

What we don’t really cater for are the country rural style Utes. Utes with multiple aerials, spotlights, bull bars and mud flaps are simply not proUTES, and there are dozens of other web based Ute clubs catering for that demand. We get along well with our B&S Ute owning rivals at Ute shows, and we socialise with them at each and every Ute show we attend. This is just not that kind of Ute admiration.

Team proUTES.com membership is FREE

When registering on proUTES forums, after filling out your user profile (kind of like an application form), your membership to proUTES will be approved by an Administrator. Please put in an accurate ‘location’ otherwise the registration will be deleted. Locations such as ‘Earth’ or ‘Australia’ will also be deleted. The reason for this stance is that we receive around 50 spam registrations per day and have to filter them one by one in order to decide on deleting or approving.

After completing the registration you will gain access to our forum portal as a "Registered User". Amongst the forums are State sections (where the state teams get their heads together to organise events, cruises, dyno days, Ute shows and other social outings in their region). Posting replies to these topics is how to get involved in Team proUTES. Everyone gets a say on proUTES forums and anyone has the opportunity to propose and plan a proUTES event.
We also have forums based on Performance, Customising, and Ute entertainment. If you have any "How do I?", or "Where can I get this done?" questions, our members will have just about every answer and piece of advice you'll ever need, as what you want to do, has probably already been done by someone within our member base. The forum also contains numerous DIY topics of modifications that you can do yourself at home to improve the Street image of your Ute.

proUTES also have a hidden extra section for ‘Members’ which we refer to as "Validation".
